The company was founded in 2017 and has worked on residential insulation across central Mississippi since then. That covers attic insulation, removal and replacement, wall insulation and attic sanitization. Nearly a decade of attic work means most conditions we find are ones we have seen before.
Is Green Leaf Insulation family owned?
Yes. The business is family-owned and owner-operated, which means the person assessing your attic is directly involved in the work itself. It also means you are dealing with the same small team from the first conversation through to the finished job.
What areas do you serve?
Our current service area covers Florence, Brandon, Pearl, Clinton, Madison and Ridgeland. Most of our work is concentrated in and around Florence, but we regularly travel across the surrounding communities. If you are just outside those towns, it is worth asking whether we can reach you.
Do you work on commercial buildings or only homes?
Our services are built around residential properties, and homes make up the work we do day to day. Attics, wall cavities and rodent-related insulation problems in houses are our focus. How do I get an estimate for insulation work?
The simplest way is to send us a message describing what you are noticing in the house or what you have seen in the attic. We will follow up with a few questions and arrange to look at the space if that makes sense. Seeing the attic is usually necessary before we can give you meaningful numbers.
What does insulation cost?
Pricing depends on the size of the space, how much insulation is needed, and whether existing insulation has to be removed first. An attic that just needs additional insulation blown in is a very different job to one that needs clearing out and rebuilding. We will give you a clear figure once we have assessed the attic.
Do I need to be home while the work is done?
This depends on the project and the access we need, so it is worth confirming when we schedule. Some jobs require very little from you once we have access to the attic, while others benefit from you being around for questions. We will tell you which applies to your project before the day.
How long does an insulation job take?
Timelines vary considerably depending on the size of the attic and whether removal is involved. Adding insulation to an accessible attic is generally quicker than a full removal, sanitization and replacement. We will give you a realistic timeframe as part of your estimate.
How messy is insulation removal?
Removing old insulation is inherently dusty work, and containing that mess is part of doing the job properly. We will explain how we plan to handle access, containment and cleanup for your specific attic before starting. If there is anything in the attic you want protected or moved, tell us in advance.

What insulation services do you provide?
We install attic insulation, including blown-in insulation, and we add to existing attic insulation that has settled or thinned. We also handle attic insulation removal, full removal and replacement, batt insulation for walls, and wet-spray cellulose for wall cavities. Attic sanitization after rodent activity is part of the service too.
Do I need to remove my old attic insulation or can I just add more?
It depends entirely on the condition of what is up there now. Insulation that is simply thin or settled can often be topped up, while insulation that is damaged, wet or contaminated generally needs removing first. We will look at the existing material and tell you honestly which situation you are in.
Can you help if rodents have contaminated my attic insulation?
Yes, this is an area we specialise in. Contaminated insulation is removed, the attic space is sanitized, and new insulation can then be installed. Our sister company Green Leaf Pest Services handles the pest control side when that work is also needed.
What is the difference between blown-in and batt insulation?
Blown-in insulation is loose material distributed across a surface, which lets it settle into corners and around obstructions in an attic. Batt insulation comes in pre-cut sections that are fitted into open cavities, which makes it well suited to walls during a remodel or new build. Which one suits your project depends on the space being insulated.
How do I know if my attic needs more insulation?
Uneven temperatures between rooms and a house that is hard to keep comfortable are the most common signs homeowners notice. Visibly thin insulation, or insulation sitting below the level of the joists, is another indicator worth checking. An assessment will tell you what is actually there and what the attic could use.
